While we lived in the Monterey, California area, we were members of the Aquarium. We also participated in the beachcomber program to collect data on beachcast fauna for Moss Landing Marine Laboratories in our final year there. This is a Snowy Plover (Charadrius alexandrinus) on probably our last visit to the aquarium before we moved in the summer.
